Anthony Scaramucci’s wife has filed for divorce after three years because of the new White House communications director’s “naked political ambition,” Page Six of The New York Post reported Friday.
Citing “multiple sources” who have “exclusively” talked to Page Six, the report said that Deidre Ball, 38, worked as a vice president in investor relations for SkyBridge Capital, an investment banking firm.
Scaramucci, 52, founded Skybridge in 2005 and sold it in hopes of joining the Trump administration, Page Six reports.
He was a senior vice president at the Export-Import Bank in Washington when Trump appointed him last week, prompting the resignation of Sean Spicer.
Scaramucci and Ball began dating in 2011 and were believed to have married in 2014, Page Six reports. They have two children.
The marriage was his second.
Ball could not immediately be reached, according to the Post, and a spokesman for Scaramucci declined to comment.
