MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Apologizes for Cursing at Staff

MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell has apologized via Twitter after a video surfaced of him angrily ranting and cursing at staff members.

A better anchorman and a better person would’ve had a better reaction to technical difficulties. I’m sorry.

The eight-minute profanity-laced video was posted Wednesday by Mediaite and went viral on Twitter.

In the video, O’Donnell can be seen during commercial breaks and while videotaped segments are being aired. He first complains about a conversation coming through his earpiece that has nothing to do with him.

“What’s going on? Why am I losing this? Why don’t I have sound?” he asks, before complaining, “Who’s asking for a Labor Day rundown in my ear?”

“Someone in that control room is out of control,” he says.
