The Western Conference Semi-finals second leg kicked off on Thursday with the Portland Timbers going to Seattle to take on the Sounders. The aggregate soccer was 4-4 after extra time needing penalty kicks to decide things. Portland advanced to the Conference Championship 4-2 on PK’s. The US Women’s National Team reach a giant milestone, notching their 500th victory after defeating Portugal in an international friendly in Lisbon. In other soccer news, the United Soccer league crowned it’s champion as Louisville City FC beat Phoenix Rising 1-0 in the USL Cup final. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
