Mitch McConnell Played ‘Fear Factor’ On Members of Congress?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell seems to be able to play hardball after all. Marshalling his GOP forces to pass anything through the Senate this year has been as effective as herding cats. It just has not worked.

In the buildup to the vote for the Tax Plan in the Senate, the Leader used a new tactic. He must have done a good job of striking fear into the hearts of some of his more reluctant Senators. He probably gave up a few promises as well. This is how it went down.
