Legless skateboarder dubbed Brazilian ‘Tony Hawk’

The first ever Tag Team Crossover Slopestyle event took place at Laax 2020 Open in Switzerland. The mix of skiing and snowboarding wowed crowds at the inaugural session. 23-year-old Vinicius Sardi dropped into his local Sao Paulo skate park to practice his skills. The Brazilian X-Games champion had to have both legs amputated at a young age but defied the odds, becoming one of the best adaptive skateboarders in the sport. RT America’s Steve Christakos reports.
