Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their third child, Kensington Palace announced in a statement released on Monday, and the queen is delighted by the news.
Officials said the Duchess of Windsor is suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, a form of severe morning sickness, and will not carry out her engagements on Monday, The Associated Press reported
William and Kate already have two children, Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
When Kate was eight weeks pregnant with Prince George she was hospitalized for several days. There had been speculation for weeks that Middleton was pregnant and her hospitalization forced the British royal family into making the early announcement.
