It Appeared Rosenstein’s Days Were Numbered At The DOJ, But It Looks Different Now

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein seems secure in his position for the time being. It had appeared that his days and hours were numbered in the Trump administration. The House FISA memo did not paint Mr. Rosenstein in the most favorable light. Asking the FISA Court to extend the Carter Page investigation based on the Steele dossier would do get you many favors from Donald Trump. As it is, President Trump’s staff and GOP Representatives and Senators may have had a hand in cooling the President’s ire down to a sub-boiling level. We will soon see how this works out for the President.
