Hillary Blames Many, Including Herself, Media in Latest Book

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in her new book, “What Happened,” wrote she wrestles with the same question every day since losing the election in November 2016: “Why did I lose? Sometimes it’s hard to focus on anything else.”

“I go back over my own shortcomings and the mistakes we made,” she wrote, according to The Hill. “I take responsibility for all them.”

In her book, published Sept. 12, Clinton blames herself and many others. She said she could have spent more time in battleground states, but also said the media did not give her a fair shake. She blamed part of her loss on Russia and former FBI Director James Comey.

“We had 133 staff on the ground (in Wisconsin) and spent nearly $3 million on TV, but if our data (or anyone else’s) had shown we were in danger, of course we would have invested more,” she wrote. “I
