The sign was hard to miss on the piano: “ANY AND ALL CHRISTIAN MUSIC IS BANNED.” The Gateway Group had decided at a board meeting to ban Christianity from all public areas at the Cambridge House, violating Florida State law.
Residents were told they could no longer host a weekly Bible study in the commons area. They were not allowed to play Christian music on the public piano.
Outraged? So were the residents who filed a Fair Housing complaint with the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
