Florida House Passes Bill Requiring “In God We Trust” Placed In ALL Public Schools

Rep. Kim Daniels, a Florida Democrat, sponsored legislation that would require that schools post “In God We Trust” in a conspicuous place.

The Jacksonville Representative who runs her own ministry said that Florida needed the legislation, given the goings on in the state.

“He is not a Republican or a Democrat and He is not black or white,” Daniels said. “He is the light, and our schools need light in them like never before.”

Daniels stated that while Florida has “gun issues” that need to be addressed, “the real thing that needs to be addressed are issues of the heart.

“We cannot put God in a closet when the issues we face are bigger than us.”

The bill overwhelmingly passed by a count of 97-10 and was reportedly met with a standing ovation. A companion bill has yet to be taken up by the Florida Senate.  For the “In God We
