Five baby orangutans were rescued in India’s eastern Odisha state on Tuesday, with authorities probing a possibility of smuggling.
Authorities said the rescued orangutans, all less than a year old, could not have migrated naturally as their natural habitat is tropical rainforest, indicating possible human intervention.
