“Duck Dynasty” mom Korie Robertson laid into President Donald Trump on Thursday for failing to unify the country in the wake of a violent white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
In an emotional interview with CNN’s Jamie Gangel, Robertson — who voted for Trump — lamented Trump is still in presidential election “fight mode.”
“I don’t think he’s leading our country to a place of unity,” she said. “I think he’s in fight mode, and he still is in fight mode, and I’m like, ‘You won. You won the election, so you need to get out of fight mode, and let’s get into, like, peace and unifying people.'”
In the days following the violence, Robertson raised eyebrows when she retweeted former President Barack Obama’s message “no one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.”
