Ireland’s Prime Minister has announced the pushing back of major reopening of hospitality, with only fully-vaccinated or immune people allowed to dine indoors.

Micheál Martin said the effects of the Delta variant had forced a decision to push back a major reopening for hospitality planned for 5 July, making Ireland the only country in Europe yet to reopen indoor dining.

Only those who have had both vaccine doses or can prove they have recovered from COVID will be able to eat indoors at restaurants.
