But in Friday’s episode, “Legacy,” the show suddenly took a PC turn as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) went completely out of character by sympathizing with an illegal immigrant over one of his officers to the point of firing her even though she did everything “by the book.”</p>
