The media sought to torpedo Trump before the election but they failed. Ignoring the opportunity to modify their slant in favor of objective reporting, they are instead ramping up the volume of malicious lies. “According to recent polls,” says the New York Times, “the image of Donald Trump as a bigot has begun to crystallize, and for good reason: Because it’s true!” A columnist writing in the Washington Post says, “Let’s not mince words: Donald Trump is a bigot and a racist.” Subtle. For those who still read this kind of yellow journalistic garbage, coming away with a positive view of President-elect Donald J. Trump is all but impossible.
