US President Joe Biden spoke after a jury in Minneapolis delivered three guilty verdicts in the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin, who was standing trial accused of the murder and manslaughter of George Floyd.
But President Biden said the guilty verdicts weren’t enough – and while they were a step forward, they don’t bring George Floyd back. And standing beside Vice President Kamala Harris, he said the country could be at a moment of significant change.
