The BBC recently had a listing on their website’s career section for a “journalism trainee scheme,” an 11-month-long program to train aspiring journalists. The very first requirement they list for the program is to be a “creative storyteller.” Nowhere in the listing do the words “truth” or “fact” even appear. The Resident breaks it down.
