Another White House Official Fails To Qualify For Security Clearance?

The Trump White House is a lot more critical of their staff when it comes to security clearances than we have been used to lately. Here is one that was denied a clearance for smoking marijuana back in 2013. Now that may not be the sole reason because there is a mention of it disqualifies you if you try to hide it. George David Banks was the special assistant to the president for international energy and environmental policy. He is not the only one who has been denied a clearance. There may yet be more.

As Written and Reported By Ryan Saavedra for the Daily Wire:

A top official in the Trump administration resigned this week after being told by the White House that he would not receive a permanent security clearance after he admitted to prior drug use.
