Never Trump candidate Lee Busby, a retired Marine colonel and former aide to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly has decided to be a write-in candidate for Senator from Alabama. It is a blatant attempt to siphon off some of the votes for Judge Roy Moore.
Mr. Busby has no ground game and does not yet have a website. His entry into the arena has little if any support. It will be interesting to uncover who backed this ploy. Was it the Democrats or was it something concocted by Senator Mitch McConnell. Who are you betting on?
