We are often very quick to point out when we think things are unfair. If someone’s rights are being violated, Americans are usually good at pointing this out. But, we have to begin to talk about the fact that there is a problem with the understanding of rights.
If something is allowed for one group in our country, it has to be allowed for all other groups. This is almost without exception the way that our country has been set up.
No, it has not always worked itself out that way, but we see from the Founding Documents that this was the intent of the Founding Fathers.
We will eventually lose these right because we are not teaching our children to think critically. One recent video survey points out what I mean.
