A federal judge has ruled to withhold the Comey memos.

The former FBI Director James Comey memos will remain out of sight for now. The memos are the ones written by Comey after meetings with President Donald Trump.  A Judge, who also serves on the FISA Court ruled against demands for release under the Freedom of Information Act.

The FBI has been stalwart in protecting these memos so that they can remain in the hands of the Special Counsel Robert Mueller.  The argument is that these memos are useful and protected while they are a part of an investigation.
