Catherine Edet, 29, and her male lover, Chinedu Nwobodo, 30, were granted N7 million bail on Tuesday by an Ebute-Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos for allegedly raping two daughters.
Both suspects have been charged with one count each of conspiracy, defilement, failing to provide necessary care and risking the health of children in their custody.
However, they both pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.
According to the police investigation, Nwobodo came to visit her girlfriend then entered the bedroom of the children as she fell asleep and raped her nine and twelve-year-old girls.
