Gotta love when taxpayer money is thrown directly into the garbage. That is exactly what has been happening for years since Michelle Obama imposed her ideas about “healthy eating” on America’s schoolchildren. Most of the food was so disgusting, it ended up in the trash. Food is hardly nutritious if nobody eats it.
When the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 was passed, with the direction of Michelle Obama, sweeping changes were made to what food was and wasn’t allowed to be served in public schools. The $4.5 billion program’s goal was noble enough, trying to fight childhood obesity. However, the execution of the changes resulted in trays of stomach churning mush.
Students were quick to respond with #ThanksMichelleObama, with photos of their disgusting lunches.
