Only, one of those ambassadors doesn’t exist. The other one’s resignation had nothing to do with Trump’s alleged statement.
US Marine veteran and 35 year public servant Ambassador to Panama John Feeley decided to resign back in December. It was announced on January 11, before news went crazy over a remark allegedly made by Trump. But the media instantly attempted to make a connection to the remark that did not exist.
