Liberal SCOTUS Brings Abortions To Texas (Image: MGN)
The Supreme Court today knocked down a Texas Law that regulated abortion clinics. In a 5-3 decision, the Supreme Court voted today getting ride of Texas House Bill 2. President Obama came out with a statement saying that he was very “pleased” by the decision. Even Hillary took the chance to use it as ammunition to her “women” vote campaign.
The Supreme Court took its first steps into the world of the abortion debate today, their first time in nine years. The Texas House Bill 2, a bill that regulates abortion clinics, was defeated today in a 5-3 decision.
The majority opinion of the court was decided by Justices Stephen Breyer, Anthony Kennedy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayer and Elena Kagan. The opposing vote was cast by Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alto and Clarence Thomas.
