Eight women have accused Senator Al Franken of sexual misconduct, to this point. Of course, the first bombshell was a picture of Franken, with that goofy grin on his face, grabbing the breasts of Leeann Tweeden as she slept. The picture is undeniable evidence of his actions.
Since then, more women have come out to accuse Franken of touching them inappropriately.
Franken responded to the allegations with the usual cop out answer, he doesn’t really remember it that way and didn’t know where his head was, followed by a blanket “sorry.” He really tried to thread the needle there, just enough responsibility taking without actually admitting wrongdoing. Typical.
Now, several Democratic lawmakers are changing their tunes and feel they “rushed to judgement” in pushing Franken to resign. Of course they did. And we all know exactly why and it can be summed up in two words: Roy Moore.
