I don’t know about you, but I’ve been burned by people who I thought I could trust.
This subject isn’t a comfortable one to bring up, but hindsight is 20/20. When I look back on times in my life where I should have just trusted my gut and did some digging, the idea that I “just need to trust them” or “I don’t want to offend anyone” held me back.
After all, I thought I knew that person well. Shouldn’t I give them the benefit of the doubt?
