Representative John Conyers has been around a long, long time. He has been in office since 1964 and was there when Lyndon Johnson was President. Just. Wow. Now, Mr. Conyers is going into retirement.
There are those that will tell you that he is being forced to retire. The sexual harassment charges have mounted rapidly now that the floodgates have opened. He will tell you that it is a health issue.
There seems to be a battle starting to see who it is that replaces him. Mr. Conyers has already endorsed his son for the seat. It appears that a wife and a nephew are also fighting for some Congressional largess. Here it is – Family Feud!
