The death toll is now up to 28 dead and 60 wounded in a bombing at Ataturk Airport, located just outside of Istanbul in Turkey. Not much is being said at this time as Turkey has issued a media blackout while they investigate. They did confirm that 2 suicide bombers blew themselves up in the airport and some witnesses claimed they saw up to 4 gunmen. However, the gunmen have not been officially confirmed.
Turkey has been under constant threat from ISIS and other terrorist organizations in the region and as a result has been under constant alert.
So far there have not been any reported American casualties, but the US State Department is verifying to make sure all American travelers in the Area are okay.
