Bette Midler advocates violence against Rand Paul over spending bill vote

As the Internet knows by now, the federal government technically shut down for a brief time Friday morning after Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., refused to support a 600-page government funding bill.  Naturally, this triggered Bette Midler, who decided to advocate violence against the Kentucky Republican. “Where’s Rand Paul’s neighbor when we need him?” she tweeted.
