<p>As a general rule, I don’t debate gun control anymore. There are only so many times one can explain the difference between a legal semi-automatic rifle and an illegal assault rifle. There are only so many times one can explain how semi-automatic rifles account for fewer than 1% of shootings in America, and that banning them would have little-to-no effect on the rate of shootings.</p>
