BREAKING: ACTIVE SHOOTER AT HIGH SCHOOL IN PARKLAND, FLORIDA! PEOPLE SHOT!
Gunshots were reported at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The gunman is reported to still be at large with law enforcement officers from multiple agencies flooding the area.
Coral Springs advised students and teachers in the locked down high school in Parkland, Florida, located at 5901 Northwest Pine Island Rd.,to remain barricaded inside until officers reach them.
There are reports of shooting victims, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
The Broward School District said that around dismissal time at 2:40 p.m., staff and students heard what sounded like gunfire and they enacted a “code red” lock down.
“We are receiving reports of possible multiple injuries,” said spokeswoman Tracy Clark.
